Purposes of the Processing

Personal data collected through newsletter subscription forms (first name, last name and email address) will be processed for the purpose of sending newsletters and communications regarding the activities of VGN, including invitations to events and conferences organised and/or sponsored by VGN, also in cooperation with third parties.
The provision of such personal data is necessary in order to subscribe to and receive the newsletter service. Therefore, failure to provide the requested data will prevent Users from receiving VGN newsletters.
Users may unsubscribe from the newsletter service at any time by following the instructions contained in each newsletter or by contacting VGN using the contact details indicated below.

Personal data collected through registration forms for events advertised on the Website (first name, last name, company and email address) will be processed for the purpose of enabling Users to participate in the requested event and to receive VGN newsletters.
Events may be organised and/or sponsored by VGN, also in cooperation with third parties.
In this case, personal data may be disclosed to public and private entities involved in the organisation and management of the event and/or to service providers involved in ancillary and necessary activities (for example speakers, hostesses and communication companies managing event-related communications). Such entities shall process the data either as independent data controllers or as data processors appointed by VGN pursuant to a specific written agreement.
The provision of such data is necessary in order to complete the registration process; therefore, failure to provide the requested data will prevent participation in the relevant event.

Where Users participate in events and/or activities organised and/or sponsored also by third parties, and subject to the User’s prior consent, personal data may also be disclosed to such third parties acting as independent data controllers pursuant to their own privacy notices.

Personal data collected through unsolicited job applications (first name, last name, telephone number, email address, curriculum vitae and any cover letter/message) shall be processed solely for the assessment of the candidate’s profile and for any subsequent interview process.
The provision of personal data contained in cover letters/messages is entirely optional and failure to provide such data shall not affect the evaluation of the application.

Personal data shall also be processed in order to respond to requests submitted by Users through the contact details available on the Website. For this purpose, Users are required to provide their contact details; otherwise, VGN will not be able to respond to such requests.
